We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to fill a picker/packer role in our busy and growing organization with excellent working conditions.
We are a fruit and vegetable wholesaler based in Stepney, someone required on a casual basis Monday to Friday between 5 am and 5 pm, hours are flexible with a very high hourly rate. Must be available on Saturday mornings.
Job includes
- Picking, weighing, and packing of Fruit and Vegetables ready for daily distribution
- Communicate with the sales team and management about changes or issues with orders
- Working within and complying with Food and Safety guidelines to ensure a safe and clean environment in the warehouse
The applicant must:
- Be flexible with an energetic, can-do, positive attitude
- Be trustworthy and reliable
- Ability to follow processes and procedures
- Be able to work in a chiller at 5 degrees and be able to lift up to 20kgs
- Possess attention to detail when in both the office and warehouse
- Be able to work as part of a team or autonomously
- Have strong organizational skills
- Training and support will be provided if you are the right candidate.
